Photos/Description of the Inuksuk
The inuksuk sculpture, a finely crafted work of art created from aluminum, is five (5) meters tall and four and a half (4.5) meters wide and has been installed on the grounds of Speed Skating Canada House.
Two additional replicas of the Inuksuk have also been produced by the students of the Centre de formation professionnelle Qualitech, one of which will be placed at the Gaétan Boucher Oval, where the Québec-based long track national and development team skaters train. The second replica will be offered to the Commission scolaire du Chemin-du-Roy and installed at the Complexe sportif Alphonse-Desjardins in Trois-Rivières.
