Speed Skating Canada's Family and Friends Program

Speed Skating Canada's Family and Friends Program is a program designed to take care of the family and friends of athletes, coaches and Integrated Support Team (IST) members. The intent of the program is to assist in making arrangements for tickets, accommodations and ensuring all of the details around the games are taken care of so the team can focus on being at their very best. While on a much smaller scale, this program has helped contribute to Speed Skating Canada's success in Nagano, Salt Lake City and Torino.

If you intend to be in the Vancouver area during the games and are a family or friend of an Athlete, Coach or IST member who is likely to be attending the games you are encouraged to register with the program now so that Speed Skating Canada can plan for your participation and contact you with additional details as the program develops. Once team members are confirmed, qualified applicants will be contacted by email and invited to provide additional information about when they will be in the Vancouver area during the games and provide further details on precisely what services are available to the family and friends of team members.
